1 week from today I will be playing at the first ever MacFest, to be held in beautiful downtown Bradenton, Fl. While we’re on the topic of local festivals, I thought I would share some photos and a follow up on the awesome local original music festival: Noise Ordinance. As mentioned in a previous posting, I was selected as one of 39 local original bands from an audition pool of over 130 bands! This years festival was truly a success; raising money for WSLR (local radio station) and their new studio. The festival was truly exciting to be part of this year; huge energy on stage and from the crowd, and hundreds of people there to hear ORIGINAL material. That’s right, not a single Jimmy Buffett / Sublime / Jack Johnson request the entire night! If you would like a free copy of the sampler CD come ask me at a live show.

Noise Ordinance 2 was made perfect with Ben and Sandy Greco TAKING IT ALL ON JUST THE TWO OF THEM!!!! YAHHHH!!!!! … MAC FEST ? The date should be at the top of their facebook page, am rather confused sorry.. Very Glad it’s free in this economy !!!! Just wish weren’t likely a beer bash/harsh for family to take that stuff all the music all the time for people messed up makes music getting around here very much a turn off for people who are grateful and pay something to see local quality musicians !! So? … how bout water fest/soda fest w small admissions in this hot weather state anyway for families who love music more likely for sure over the beer burned out people!//you only have to start small and stop saying no it won’t work/try hard enough you have gotten these things as is! MAC ?? hope this doesn’t lead to that iphone slave labor stuff in Asia ? juz wondering/say’in ?? L? What is the exact date/please state online! Thanks!! please pass on ideas and happiness!
Hi Hope, I put together the website for Macfest pretty quickly and forgot to add the date to the top line, thanks for the assist! Also I really don’t think this will be a beerfest, this is an event my friend and fellow musician Michael Mac (who plays at the Hub all the time, great guy and great musician) is putting together for the love of music and a showcase for all the talent in this area. Should be fun, I hope you guys can make it!
